The direct rout from here to Sarnia is terrible to closed all winter. It will be a fun trip for sure. I'll keep my fingers crossed for good weather too.

The Great Lakes Serama Association will also be holding a Table-top Competition at this show. Enter your Serama in the cage show and they are automatically entered in the Table-top with no additional fees. Come see the show and enter your birds. It's a lot of fun. Judge to be announced.

It ought to be about 80 degrees in Sarnia since all your cold air seems to have come down here! Seriously, stop exporting all your frigid weather stateside-The market is pretty well saturated as the supply is quite exceeding demand.

Ha ha! I have four feet of snow on the ground in the forest right now, and it's still coming down. Every road within a two hour drive of me is closed! The radio is telling me it is illegal to drive. (This doesn't happen in Canada). I have shovelled a path to my chicken shed three times today just to keep ahead of it. Lol.

Well, it looks like I'm most likely going to miss this one again. I broke my hand two days ago and had surgery yesterday. It's pretty hard to even just catch a bird with one hand, and washing one would be impossible. I still have a bit of time to think about it, I guess. But it's not looking good.

Lol... My "understanding wife" had a bit of an incident with 51 yesterday (the violent sucker that won at Milton). I thought it would be a good idea for her to help me rotate my breeding cockerels. 51 was first... She opened the cage door, reached in and hesitated for a second... He launched himself out the door and went for her eye. I think she over reacted slightly. She had her glasses on, and he didn't even leave a mark. So, we will see. Maybe I should buy her flowers or something.
