Stay tuned, this will make for some good dialogue I am sure for several reasons. a) every set up is different b) everyones goals are different, ie:breeding for good specimens to show versus just showing good specimens c) patience is not just an 8 letter word, it has to be applied over and over again when breeding these ducks...
Stay tuned....more to follow..

A few other important things to consider when raising/breeding bantam ducks are start with goals.
Are you wanting to breed and develop a reputation as a breeder or are you merely in the hobby for showing and chasing points?
Either way you decide its best to source out a good reputable breeder whom has had success in breeding quality birds.
By obtaining quality breeding stock to begin with you can hopefully raise a few birds that can progress your breeding program and start it in the right direction.
Word of warning, if obtaining exhibition stock for purely showing, remember that in most cases the small, dainty little peanut will be no good to you in the breeding pen and many times incapable of reproducing.
