I know eh? It just enhances what's there and pushes it to the next level. I had no idea how much of a difference it really makes. Thanks for beating it into me Stephane. Lol.

I use Johnsons no tears baby shampoo and white vinegar.... Not together. That's what I used to use to wash my canaries. And man do they smell nice! Lol.

Small amount of shampoo in water in sink. Wet bird down by pulling feathers forward to get the under coat. Then a bunch of shampoo right on the bird and work it in to the skin. Dunk back into soapy water to remove the dirt and swirl it around. Scrub vent and legs. Don't submerge head. Lol Move bird to sink with just plain water... A touch warmer than room temp in all sinks. Rinse the bird as best as I can. Pulling feathers forward again to get the water to the under coat. Take small cup of straight vinegar. Pour it over the birds back, wings, hackle. All the parts that are supposed to shine. Hand wring the vinegar out and pour some more water over. Move the bird to another sink full of clean water and do a final rinse. The spray hose thing on the sink works good here. Rinse as much as possible. Towel dry then wrap in towel burrito and clean the comb, face, nose with tooth brush and or q tip. Scrub feet with toothbrush and trim the nails. Leave it in the towel burrito for half an hour or so then return it to a cage... With a heat lamp. And no shavings! Who knew wet chickens liked to dust? A holes. And that's about it. Easy as pie.
