Woodsy requested, so lets deliver.
In conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the A.B.A, the Ohio National has been the selected site to host this wonderful event!
I am already planning breeding pens around this show. I have not yet seen a date, but will update as soon as I know.
Lets maybe get a good contingent of breeders and birds ready for it!
If anyone is thinking about attending but unsure the steps required, please do not hesitate to ask. There are folks on here that go Stateside regularly that would be happy to guide in the right direction!
So prepare those breeding pens now and get some chicks hatched early and lets make Canada proud and as woodsy said send a dream team to fill up champion row.
If I recall back in 2009, champion large fowl, feather leg and bantam duck all came from Canada!

I will definitely need a refresher on how to do this. Well not exactly a refresher... More of a pm or verbal discussion of which loop holes we can make work for poultry. I have been taking birds down for a long time... But they were a touch smaller than a chicken. Lol. We will talk at OPB. I'm stoked for it.

Wow!!!! I am already really pumped about 2014 and this year isn't even finished. I should have a bunch of Cayugas, Sussex and Bantam White Rocks hatched this spring for Ohio 2014. Those are the three breeds I'll be working on this coming year. I am sure Steph will have a few really nice birds as well. Wyandottes, Reds and Pekins should be strong!
Can't Wait!! Woodsy

John Yup .. sounds like it is going to be a big one. Being is the ABA National it will be a big bantam show for sure.. and I am sure the Large fowl entry will be bigger than normal as well. I hope to have some to show ... the Large Fowl Birchen Moderns are planning to make their US debute there this year... if all goes as planned that is.... I have many orders for birds to deliver for there as well. It will be a truck load I figure. I am sure there will be many a Canuck there for this one .. either showing or just looking. TL

Absolutely ready to go. At least they will know what a Light Sussex is this year! Planning on taking both the Lights and the Speckleds. It sounds like we will be taking a team. Fantastic.
